Wooden Egg

Having beaten the NFU and Farmers Club at the annual 'Wooden Egg' this time last year, it was the turn of Launceston Young Farmers to hold this years competition. Therefore, to add variation to the usual skittles/ darts/ pool, 'The Generation Game' was bought back to life again, with Mr Graham Smale transforming into 'Brucie'! (...and what a smashing job he did too).

There was a game for everyone; shaping balloon animals (kindly demonstrated and judged by Richard Gribble), decorating cakes, using binbags to create a futuristic fashion, sewing on a button whilst wearing gardening gloves and nail banging to name just a few! Following a lot of mess, laughter and determination, the Young Farmers reclaimed the prize of the wooden egg.

Thank you to the NFU and Farmers Club for joining us in making it an enjoyable evening. Better luck next year!!
